The new course dedicated to the communication of projects based on the metaverse
The presentation of the Metaverse Marketing Lab, the new program dedicated to communication companies on the metaverse market, will be held on Wednesday, 29 June 2022.
The new initiative has been organized by the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano, together with UNA (Aziende della Comunicazione Unite) and UPA (Utenti Pubblicità Associati).
And, in fact, they are the ones launching a joint workshop on Marketing in the Metaverse the day after tomorrow, in order to observe best practices in the market, trace evolutionary scenarios, and analyze consumer interaction behavior in dealing with immersive, virtual and augmented reality experiences.
The event will last from 9:30 AM to 1 PM (CET) at the Aula Magna Carassa e Dadda of the Politecnico di Milano and will present the various applications of the Metaverse for marketing and eco-media business.
Metaverse Marketing Lab: the event and agenda
The event dedicated to the Metaverse Marketing Lab aims to share data and information on the metaverse market, showcase marketing applications for the metaverse in collaboration with the Milan Living Room and Sim.Co.VR technology, and let participants experience a demo.
Specifically, researchers from Polytechnic’s PhEEL Laboratory will present the results of studies on measuring users’ emotions in immersive realities, while UPA and UNA will share the sensitivities and experiences of the marketing and communication supply chain regarding Metaverse Marketing.
This is a way to fully understand this new and increasingly emerging market, including from the perspective of communication and marketing.
The agenda, in fact, includes speeches by Manuela Balli, Metaverse Marketing Lab Director, Raffaele Pastore, UPA General Manager, and Massimiliano Gusmeo, UNA Delegate to projects on the Metaverse.
Not only that, to describe the application part of the program, there will also be speeches by Lucio Lamberti, Metaverse Marketing Lab Scientific Manager, and Alessio Visintin, Sim.Co.VR, as well as Massimo Colautti, CEO of the Milan Salotto
Metaverse and the crypto market
As crypto face their bear market, a.k.a. “crypto winter”, more and more initiatives in the metaverse continue to flourish.
In this regard, last week, Mathieu Nouzareth, the US CEO of The Sandbox, a famous game and metaverse on blockchain, explained his view on how his platform has not been affected by the bearish trend in crypto.
In fact, Nouzareth explained that users choose The Sandbox for fun and not for business, and this has led the platform to continue in its goal of becoming the “Manhattan of the Metaverse,” without worrying about the crypto market.
The CEO of Meta Platform, Mark Zuckerberg, also commented on this, saying that he imagines a billion people making hundreds of dollars in the metaverse.
